Clare  (bloodhorse literate) (broadcaster) to work upside Nick (Lord Snooty) (broadcaster) Luck. Will Nick be taking any steps towards achieving bloodhorse literacy in his own right we may wonder?

We may wonder if Nick's steps into achieving true bloodhorse literacy may be shown live on C4 racing? Could Richard Pitman be Nick's Tutor?

Journalist of the year LEE MOTTERSHEAD did take his adventure journey into bloodhorse literacy himself, so what about it Nick? Why not ask Lee how he masterminded his adventure into bloodhorse literacy? LEE in his adventure got to the standard of competing in a race.

Perhaps some of the British Horseracing Government Authority people Paul Bittar, Jamie Stier,  veterinary Tim Morris and Lyn Williams could do the same?

John McCririck labels TV bosses ageist after axing

By Jon Lees and Graham Dench 9:13AM 26 OCT 2012

JOHN MCCRIRICK accused Channel 4 executives of "ageism" following his axing from terrestrial TV after 31 years covering racing.
Channel 4 on Thursday revealed a 13-strong team to deliver its coverage from January 1, a line-up headed by BBC recruit Clare Balding but which has no place for some of the network's recognisable figures.
McCririck, one of the sport's most famous faces, said: "Naturally I am devastated at being sacked after covering betting, first on ITV and then Channel 4, for 31 years. It had always been a dream to report from the racecourse betting jungles at Aintree and Ascot.
"According to Channel 4, I'm being sacked after audience research. Yes, I do antagonise people, as reactions to being twice in the Celebrity Big Brother house and also on Coach Trip prove.

"Yet, as Clare Balding, a terrific choice to lead the new young team, said recently, I've become the face of racing alongside Frankie Dettori, and now of course Clare herself.
"It is so sad that Channel 4 boss Jay Hunt and production chief Carl Hicks, both long-time BBC executives, have again gone down their well-worn path of ageism."
In addition to betting pundit McCririck and presenters Derek Thompson and Mike Cattermole, Alastair Down is another who won't be part of the new team, while John Francome had already ruled himself out of contention. Lesley Graham has recently been appointed chief executive of Racing Welfare.
