can see a William Hill chief executive having to make a decision in four or
five years' time whether racing needs to
be covered live in betting shops with pictures' ......
"WIN-WIN
is a phrase William Hill chief executive Ralph Topping uses a heck of a lot.
And it's a phrase he uses to describe the relationship he wants to see develop
between the bookmaking industry and racing.
"However,
he believes the two sides are reaching crossroads in that relationship and if
something isn't done to foster that mentality then there will be
consequences for both the sport and the
people who bet on it.

"Topping
is a racing fan, but following his appointment to the top job at Hills in 2008
he became a trenchant critic of racing's leadership. And while his language is
now more moderate his calls remain a new way for both sides to work together
remains.
"In
reality for both sides of the equation is that you have to take a long, good
hard stare at this subject because whatever decisions are made in the next year
or two will be fundamental to the long-term security of the sport." He
says.
"Topping,
who turned 61 in July, first joined William Hill in 1973 and has no intention
of retiring just yet.
"As
long as I feel valued and as long as I
still have the drive and the energy to get up every morning and work in this
business then I am going to continue." he says.
"You
retire in your late 60's and I don't see myself retiring in my early sixties.
I'm quite happy to remain at William Hill so long as I feel I'm contributing,
as long as that contribution is appreciated and as long as I feel I'm
contributing, as long as that contribution is appreciated and as long as I get
the support of the guy's who work for me.
"It's much more important for me to retain credibility with them than
to retain credibility with any other organisation.

WHAT WAY FORWARD THE BLOODHORSE LITERATE WAY? OR THE BLOODHORSE ILLITERATE WAY?
In this interview we see the PUNTERS ZONE Bill Topping (William Hill chief executive)
setting his bloodhorse illiterate view on the forward direction focus as to how
he sees the relationship between the PUNTERS ZONE and the EQUUS ZONE developing.
DIRECTION
THE ONLY WAY FORWARD IS THE TRUE RECOGNISING OF THE BLOODHORSE LITERATE WAY FORWARD WITHIN AN EQUUS ZONE
The first thing that
needs to happen is for William Hill to recognise that his PUNTING ZONE has been
allowed to operate over the last 60 years, with no Bloodhorse Literate Equus Zone recognised at
all. All taken totally for granted by all bloodhorse illiterate bookmakers, and
others.
EQUUS ZONE
Ralph Topping at present has no idea about anything
bloodhorse literate, therefore he can so easily move William Hill forward in the
wrong direction.
It
is estimated that 95 percent of people world wide are bloodhorse illiterate, so
Topping is hardly alone in his predicament, guilty of taking all those who work
in the Equus Zone for granted, big time, ongoing over 6 decades, by mistake,
not realising, the cruel consequences burdened upon the horses and the people
behind the horses horrific.

Roberts (Equus Zone) has this to say "Who is going to apologize to the
species for all these centuries of doing things the wrong way?"
No
one could or should be encouraged to take their pleasure at an animals expense
even if having a day off from work to refresh and choosing to have a day out at
the races.

whilst spending billions of tax payers hard earned cash to bale out the greedy bankers.

calls on the two sides to work towards a "win-win" situation. He
said: "I think we are at a particular crossroads at the moment or
approaching it."
No, no, no - not a"win-win" situation, a "win-win-win" situation because all those who work within the Equus Zone at the dangerous sharp end of racing can never ever be cut out of this ever again. Working towards these crossroads with the Equus Zone the number one priority will pioneer horseracing into it's true perspective.
"Talking
about the rising costs of the racing product for the bookmaking industry,
Topping said he thought there was a possibility that, without co-operation, a
future William Hill boss might look at ways for racing to be covered live in
betting shops without pictures.
No, no, no - the
true racing product is the pictures as a whole. Without those pictures British horseracing will be severely handicapped if betting shops
are to be run to exclude pictures. Racing is all about pictures and the people
to include the horses whose work make such pictures possible.
