BIG RACES COMING UP

J Margaret Clarke Turfcall Comment

David Ashforth witnesses a serious lack of refrain as Big Mac argues he remains the best-qualified man for the job.

The British political and horseracing governments along with the legal justice system are all bloodhorse illiterate  as are  95 per cent of the media and the race going public, to include Channel 4 and IMG bosses the defendants in this case.

Due to this predicament it could be said that shocking miscarriages of Equus justice  have been burdened upon all those who have achieved true bloodhorse literacy in their own right in both theory and in practice to include the horses, left ongoing over the last 6 decades.  Horsemen publically ridiculed, condemned unjustly,  over worked, underpaid, scorned, libelled and slandered.

McCririck's career has been carried out over the last 29 years within the shambles of what is termed to be a British multi billion pound horseracing industry. Run as a charity for the convenience and financial benefit of British political and horseracing governments.

McCririck's career has been conducted within the Department, Zone, Section - whatever - relating to the Gambling Game that horseracing provides and the punters rights and needs in particulars.  McCririck has acted on behalf of all punters, upheld punters rights and needs faithfully throughout as best he could no matter what.

The companies  that have employed Mac aver the last 29 years as ' Punters Champion' . To sack Mac after 29 years of loyal service? What sort of people are these defendants? How can such sacking behaviour as this ever be considered true acceptable legal practice? No, no, no way. A Criminal Act. Disgusting.  Loyal British employees can never be allowed to be thrown away like this .

To use age discrimination as a reason to sack a loyal performer can never be acceptable. A dirty cruel act.

EQUUS ZONE  NEWS  PRIZE-MONEY

RACHEL HOOD PRESIDENT OF THE BRITISH RACEHORSE OWNERS ASSOCIATION : BLOODHORSE LITERATE ACHIEVER IN THEORY AND IN PRACTICE IN HER OWN RIGHT.

PRESIDENT HOOD representing ROA  on Sunday voiced approval for the new prize-money agreements announced between the Horsemen's Group and 27 racecourses.

HOOD confirmed that "Until these agreements racecourses have had complete discretion over the amount of money they put towards prize-money. Those racecourses prepared to sign have committed contractually to their current contribution and, in some cases, required to make significant increases to prize-money so that agreed shares of their media rights revenues are redistributed to horsemen.

HOOD "In addition and also of great importance, a percentage of future growth in these revenues has been committed to prize-money."

HOOD "Should the remaining 31 courses sign the agreements, 2014's prize-money total would be boosted by £5 million.

HOOD "Most of Britain's biggest racecourses including those under the Jockey Club Racecourses  banner to include Ascot and York along with all Scottish courses and some small independents, have signed the agreements in which they are contracted to contribute a percentage of their income from betting media rights to prize-money.

HOOD "We would urge all ROA members to study very closely the list of racecourses prepared to make this cultural leap into a genuine partnership with owners. "
