"THE quarantine barn is located in a faraway corner of the massive Santa Anita stable complex, adjacent to the home turn. You never know who you might bump into walking around as you wander around here, but one thing's for sure: there's likely to be a posse outside Bob Baffert's base, where Classic hope Paynter is strolling about lazily on the horsewalker between the trainer's two barns-numbers 1b and 5 if you're interested. With the use of Lasix still a topic of discussion, Baffert seems like a good man to talk to, considering he tweeted that racing would not survive if the medication was outlawed. But Baffert's not biting this time. "Whatever the rules are, I do, " he says. It's a pain in the arse - he said '- 'arse' , not 'ass' - but if they say, hey no Lasix today, then I have to follow those rules, I'm just a trainer, they don't involve us, you just do as you are told. Know your role and shut your hole, "
