“Jockeys up in arms over Ludlow void race fiasco. British political legal and horseracing government impostors, not fit for purpose. All playing a highly dangerous game with other peoples lives to include the horses.

 

” SHADES of the 1993 Grand National shambles were evident at Ludlow yesterday when a race was declared void after a circuit and a half as angry riders were flagged down.

 

“The embarrassing incident happened after advance flag operator John Suthern appeared to miss or ignore starter Seamus O’Neill who was frantically waving his flag to declare a false start.  A little bit late in declaring a false start  after the field had completed a circuit and a half of the race?  

 

“Riders and racegoers left confused and dumfounded by false start. “
 

Jamie Stier, the governments director of raceday operations arrived back in Britain yesterday evening. Stier said: “It’s a disappointing set of circumstances, We don’t like to see void races, but when it happens it’s important the rules are followed and the matter is considered appropriately afterwards. We will be holding an inquiry, hopefully within the next couple of weeks. “ The next couple of weeks?  What about now today?
